NOT Happy Mid-Autumn Festival

When come to festivals, everyone is looking forward for gathering with friends and relatives where they sit down together and eat together and gossip together but not for me.

All these while, my dearest SIL n family joining us for dinner whatever festival we celebrated whether MIL cook or we go out makan-ing instead of her in-law. She told us that her MIL seldom cooks during festival even on eve of CNY. She has been eating together with us for many many years, lost count. I really don’t have any problem with it, the more the merrier ma…. Rite!

So, last night she came and joins us for dinner as usual. Hubby and I came home late around 7.30pm because we went to buy duck ‘kar liew’. This is requested by MIL and they love to eat duck, so upon reaching home, I saw SIL’s car and I asked hubby, will they start eating already without waiting for us? Hubby told me they won’t la, sure will wait for us one. Sure enough when I get down from the car, I saw them eating happily and I am very very upset and angry too. My unhappiness shown on my face while walking toward dining table and they said the kids are hungry. Yes, I wouldn’t mind if the kids are eating but you all adults are eating too. At least, have a courtesy to call us and tell us, right or not. We are not going shopping and purposely come home late and it’s only 7.30pm not that 8.30pm or 9.00pm.

This Mid-Autumn festival is not happy for me anyway… forget about it la!

When we reached home, that two monster can’t wait to play lantern, actually not the lantern that interest them… it’s the candles. They play happily and we have to clean their mess unhappily… hahahaha

I'm back in one piece....

Wowwww…. It’s almost a month I did not touch my blog. I’ve been thinking whether I should stop blogging since my blogging bugs had gone missing, but I really em sey tak to leave my blogging world. So, decided to continue.

On CNY
What happened during CNY? Beside go visit relatives, giving and collecting angpaos, we went to KK for holiday. This is the first time we did not going back to Penang, so lesser angpao for this year, LOL!!

We stayed at Le Meridien at KK, besides shopping we went to visit Manukan Island and Wildlife Park only. Very relaxing trip and the kids enjoyed it so much.

On Valentine’s Day
We went out for simple dining nearby our housing area. It’s Thai’s food. Didn’t receive any flower or gift from hubby so do hubby, economy no good ma… so cut cost lor.. hehehe

On last weekend
We went to Sunway Lagoon together with mum, sis, BIL, SIL and the kids. The voucher I bought is going to expired this week, so quickly make a trip there. We spent almost a day at Sunway Lagoon from 10am till 5.30pm. Really worth it hor!! The kids played till don’t want to go home and all got tanned included me which every time I went hiding when the sun found me.

On Maid
Again??? Ya… again!!! This maid really a problematic maid, I should have send her off earlier but now too late. Her permit is going to expired this Sept so am not going to renew her again. She used hubby phone to call her boyfriend, her sister and dunno who else in Indonesia and the bill come to 1.2k.

Let me explain further, hubby phone normally put at TV cabinet and charging overnight without switch it off. This has been practice since we moved into this lil’ nest. It never happens to first maid. She is really smart and pretend to be dumb dumb like what Chinnee said. She know how to use phone and know how to call to Indonesia, all the calls she made is from 5am – 7am before we wake up. Each day at least 10 calls, each call lasted 20mins. Can you imagine!!! The first call she made was on 18 Oct, one month after she arrived at our lil’ nest. She went on making calls for the month of Nov, Dec and Jan. Feb statement is not here yet, so I presume her still making calls in Feb (we just found out last two weeks). Funny rite, how come hubby did not realize it coz the phone billed to company, thus we didn’t know about it until hubby’s account person called hubby and questioned him. LOL!! And his company so generous to pay the phone bill which each month cost around 600bucks!! If we knew early, I would have sack her. So, immediately I called my agent and told him about it. He came over on Saturday, and what he did before asking her question, he slapped her twice and she burst out. The agent immediate pulled her out while she is cleaning my room and threatens her to bring her to police station. So, agent told me that he will bring her back to his office and question cum counseling her. When she came back, she apologies to us and told us she won’t make mistake again. Since then, her soul is back to her, no more dreaming AT THE MOMENT. Till today, she did her work well at least a bit better then previous. Minus off the phone bill she owes us, she goes home with less than 2k. Worth it??

My new maid is coming soon........

Got good news from my agent, my new maid is coming on 9 Sep and I’m so excited about it but on the other hand I’m worry too.

• I’m worrying the new maid ~ compare to the last one better or worst
• I’m worrying the new maid ~ disobey my instructions
• I’m worrying the new maid ~ flirting around as she only 21 yrs old (my last maid also a young maid)
• I’m worrying the new maid ~ beating my kids
• I’m worrying the new maid ~ a lazy maid
• I’m worrying the new maid ~ telling lie
• I’m worrying the new maid ~ unhygienic
  

This is my second time getting maid, first one was with us for 3yrs. Now I’m back to 3yrs ago with so many questions popping out in my mind. Maybe listen to too much complaint about the maid recently around me and this make me worry. I’ve even drafted the new schedule for the new maid to follow.

Heard from some of my friend they have to wait for few months to get new maid some even can’t give exact date coz now Indon maid is going to HK, Taiwan, Singapore and even Middle East as they pay higher compared here. But I’m lucky that I’m don’t have to wait long to get the new maid, is less than two months.

Pray that this maid won’t give us so many problems.

Washing Machine Out Of Order

What a bad day!! My 7yrs old washing machine finally knocks out half way washing all the clothes. So I have to go back to old days without washing machine… using hand : ( My whole body aching after few washes, haizzz… getting old liao.

This weekend must go and shop around for canggihness washing machine… : P

Updates: After taking few days of MC, dunno how and only god knows, our washing machine started to work again :) anyhow, still have to look around for new one, incase she decided to take long leave again.. :P

A Hectic Saturday

Morning
Wake up early in the morning to prepare to send maid to airport and at the same time received sms saying flight retime from 10.55am to 2.55pm. Haiz… I have to reschedule my itinerary becoz of this stupid airline retime their flight. Instead of me n hubby going, I have to get in-law n the kiddos along, since Sebastian’s Sports Day is at 2pm. Reached airport went to check-in counter and her luggage was overweight by 11kg and has to pay RM165. So she paid for it then I went to money changer to get some IDR for her as a pocket money. Sidney was like koala bear stick to the maid and do not want to let go her. When her kakak went into the immigration, she cried so loud and everyone was looking at us as if I kidnap the little girl. So embarrassing…

Afternoon
So, quickly get out from LCCT and proceed to Bukit Jalil. We have to reach there by 1pm but with the jammed at Sg Besi we reached around 1.30pm. And their activities finished by 4pm then quickly rush home and take a rest before continue with another event.

Evening
Rush to visit my buddy as she just gave birth to baby boy but she was discharge from the hospital without informing me… o.O then from Bangsar we rush to Sri Petaling to attend hubby’s friend full moon party. We reached there around 8,30pm and all the food almost finished. Hubby managed to get a little bit of mee hoon, little bit of fried rice and few sticks of stay for four of us. The rest gone… and drinks also habis except for beer. O.O
Luckily I’m not that hungry at that time, so I told hubby that he stay at his friend’s full moon party and I’m going to my buddy house to see her baby.

Then, on the way back to my home sweet home. we tar pau supper and have a nice meals at home.

Don’t know how to type the whole story out, a bit here and there, so I make it in point form instead

• My maid is leaving this weekend and she have to pack her stuff
• I had informed her about her departure date and let her call her parent to pick her up at the airport
• Brought her to Carrefour to buy clothes for her parents, grandparents, brothers and sister in law, she had her one long list what she need to buy and she spend around RM500plus on clothing. Of course not paid by me, it’s her owned income.
• She tell me she want to buy mobile phone, so I will bring her to shopping on Saturday for her last round of shopping
• Not bad hor… this type of employer and I know I’m not supposed to inform her earlier but kesian her la……
• So far I really don’t have any major problems with her and she did not cause anything problem to us too
• All complaints about her mainly from your MOTHER IN LAW
• SHE is the one who mentioned to hubby and me that she do not need maid anymore. Reason being is maid giving her so much of problems
• When I decided to let her go back to Indonesia, my MOTHER IN LAW keep asking me whether I really do not need a maid
• Every other days sure SHE ask me about whether I will be getting back the old maid
• My BROTHER IN LAW told my mom that I do not need a maid but my MOTHER IN LAW needs it as she getting old now and can’t do so much of house work
• Out of sudden my SISTER IN LAW called my hubby asking why I don’t want to keep the maid coz she still want to work with me (my maid is telling my SIL this today)
• I was so mad when hubby told me about this, why everyone is so concerned and pointing the fingers to me. And I had argument with hubby on the phone about this matters while I was still in the office
• Why can’t they tell me directly if they need maid, for sure I will get one if MOTHER IN LAW really cannot cope.
• For once, MOTHER IN LAW did tell my mom that she does not need a maid if this maid is leaving, but now why SHE said different thing now. WHY?????????
• I told hubby about his MUM character and the way she talked, sure hubby said that I’m very sensitive. AM I SENSITIVE??? Maybe yes… maybe no… I don’t know
• Today, once step into MOTHER IN LAW house; SHE started to tell me that my maid told her she still wants to work with us. So, I told MOTHER IN LAW that will discuss this once I finish eating
• Called maid, MOTHER IN LAW and hubby sitting together and talk about this matter, I did not go into very details as I just want to no the answer whether my maid still want to work with us. She said yes. So I asked her why she did not telling me earlier that she still want to work and keep on telling my MOTHER IN LAW, FATHER IN LAW, BROTHER IN LAW and SISTER IN LAW, are they paying your salary? No right, then what the heck you go and tell them.
• I remember that I did ask her before whether she still want to continue working with me, and she said NO
• So, did she brainwashed by someone?? Of coz the person is not me
• I’m very confused, mad, pissed off with all these.
• The end of the story here is I WON’T GET BACK THE EXISTING MAID, IF THEY INSIST THEY WANT, TAKE IT, I DON’T CARE, NOT MY MONEY, IF THEY WANT TO GET THE NEW MAID, GO AHEAD, DON’T ASK ME. SINCE I’M ALWAYS THE LAST ONE TO KNOW IF THEY CAN’T MAKE DECISION. F*** OFF!!!

Slowing down....

Hi my dear friends, missing you all so much… thank for keep coming back to my blog although there is nothing here on my updates and I’m still around in blogging world just a little slow. Please forgive me for not replying your comment(s). Lately, I’m really busy with my work… work… and work… when I’m home I wanted to switch on my PC and start blogging but just lazy to do that.

With is a**hole thingy, ahhemmm….. I mean ISO… ya, my dept is moving into ISO now, and there are many processes to follow, really hate it!!! The auditor is coming to audit us in another two weeks, so I have to get all my filling done as soon as possible, almost two months I have not touch my filling. Hopefully everything can be finish up by this Friday. I think this year gonna be a tough year for me at work. Hopefully everything went well. Ok, that about work.

Last two days, hubby went for school registration for Sebastian, I almost forgot about it until I read Elaine’s post. So, quickly called cousin whether she received any notice of registration from her son and asked her to fax me copy. Everything went smoothly during the registration period, so gotto wait till next year July on the news.

I'm here...

It has been seven days since my last post…. I’m still here, just lazy to blog and don’t know what to write. My brain has been stop functioning since last year even at work, I think and I hope that my brain will start function again after CNY… LOL!!

Nothing much happen on first week of the year......

~ went to AE's twin (Aidan 'n Dylan) one year old birthday party, Sebastian 'n Sidney enjoying themselves and collected lots of ballon which I can open up a store to sell it.. LOL!! Hubby didn't go as he's not feeling well.... met up with some of my ex-coll and one of them is migrating to Aussie soon

~ Back to work but soul still wandering around...

~ On leave. First day of school reopen, luckily Sebastian not that moody, he wake up very early waiting for me to bathe him. Just a little upset of Sidney when seeing her kor kor went to school, crying for her kor kor coz no one fight and play with her.

4 Jan
~ Continue to work..... rain heavily in the evening on the way to Mid Valley after work to meet up with my best friends for makan makan at Chili's

5 Jan
~ Whole day stay at home... later in the evening went out for makan then went to Tesco Extra, scary seeing these people grabbing for oil

6 Jan
~ Went to my colleague's son - Ryan one year old birthday party then to mum's house and having my favourite food.... bak kut teh

That's how I spend my whole week.......

MIL

Actually I do not have any major problems with my in laws, I can say that I’m lucky to have good in-laws; they treat me well so do I. But one thing I don’t like about my MIL is the way she handle my kids. I know is not their responsibility to do so and I can’t complain much as I’m lucky enough to have my in-law to take care of my kids. Why am I still complaining then?

Just a minor problem la… I wrote this down cause I got nothing to do and say, LOL!!! Last night while having dinner at in-law place, Sebastian wanted to eat ‘char siu’, so I told him there is no ‘char siu’ here. He is so upset and told me that granny had given him just now, so I asked MIL where is the ‘char siu’. Then MIL say it’s ‘lap cheong’ not ‘char siu’, I was like…. Huh!!! ‘lap cheong’ say it’s ‘lap cheong’ la why wanna confuse him with ‘char siu’ rite or not. I told MIL next time just tell them what is it, no need to lie to them, you will confuse them. No wonder whenever Sebastian asked me is this bla bla bla... then i will told him no.. it's bla bla bla, now I know why.

I hope that MIL won’t do this again.

Back to work

I’m supposed to be at home, playing with Sebastian ‘n Sidney, cooking, etc… as I’ve applied my leave till 2 Jan 2008. But now I’m in the office, I have cancelled my leave and back to work. Office is quite… most of my colleagues on leave and no mood to work as my soul is at home resting. You must be wondering why I cancel my leave, first, I got no where to go after my trip back from Bukit Merah and just staying at home cooking and playing with kids. Secondly, my MIL is confirmed going to China next year March so I gotto save some leave for that, coz no one takes care of my kids unless is school holidays so I can ask mum help to look after them.

No School!!!

This mummy, blur blur sending her son to kindy, when reached the kindy, it was closed!! Alamak!! What happen to this mummy, so forgetful one until her son kindy closed also forget. And, this daddy started to ngam ngam cham cham saying mummy this mummy that. So useless hor this mummy..... is the mummy fault also la.... din check on her son bag. Who is this mummy anyway..... who else

Long Weekend

30/08 - Eve of Merdeka
Went for dinner @ Tai Thong behind Leisure Mall with PIL. Then shop shop at Leisure Mall. After that proceed back home to see fireworks. This year although 50th Merdeka Celebration, but the fireworks display very disappointed. Every year, either Merdeka Celebration or New Year Eve Celebration, I never missed out the fireworks display all over KL as I can see it from my house but this time was really really disappointed.

31/08 - Merdeka Day
Morning: The kids wake up already and was playing and watching TV at living hall, then Sidney came in our rooms and wake us up.... lazy daddy 'n mummy still sleeping like *oink!! oink!!*. Did not go to market, so whatever in fridge just take out and heat it up for brunch.
Afternoon: Brought Sebastian 'n Sidney to swimming, after swimming both of them take a nap
Evening: Went to Mid Valley shop shop and had dinner at Chilli's

01/09 - Saturday
Morning: Wake up early as Sebastian has his Taekwondo class, then went to market to buy breakfast and some stuff for to cook for dinner
Afternoon: Sebastian has his watercolor session at back kitchen with Sidney, then watching their favourite vcd "Fun Song Factory", after that go for swimming
Evening: Having dinner at home then went to Jusco Maluri

What's a boring Saturday nite....

02/09 - Sunday
Morning: As usual wake up early and went for breakfast then proceed to Sebastian music class
Afternoon: Again shop shop at Jusco Kepong then Carrefour Kepong and buy some stuff for cooking
Evening: Having delicious dinner at home

That how we spend our long weekend.... so boring hor

Busy... Busy

These two days really busy at work... alot of my work still pending, wanted to finish it but my brain and my hand just don't cooperate. One word.... "LAZY"

When you are working... u feel like wanted to stop work and enjoy life at home with the kids. But when you were at home for few days or more.... you started to feel a little bit boring and wanted to go back to work. Why la... we cannot satisfied one hor??

And then you started to comparing this and that.... why some people stayed at home one so enjoying and we at work one so suffering (hehehe.... not really suffering la)
