Chinese New Year (Eve - Day 9)

Reunion Dinner
This is first time ever we had our reunion dinner outside. Normally MIL insist to cook but this time she suggested to eat out….. maybe she too lazy to cook liao. So, we had buffet dinner at Essence, Imperial Hotel for a change instead of Chinese dinner. This is also the first time a big group of people get together which include moms, sis, god mother and god brothers at total of 20 people. It’s really a big and happy get together reunion dinner. Hopefully, next year we can have this again!!! Then went home early as hubby need to pray.

CNY ~ Day 1
Wake up early, dressed up and went to in-law’s house, after that went to mom house and proceed to visit few relatives and had dinner at in-law’s house. That’s it for day one.

CNY ~ Day 2
This is supposed to goes back to mom house, but mom ‘n sis went to holiday at Pangkor Island, I wanted to follow along but hubby not agreed… so sad!! Anyway, is CNY do not want to argue with hubby. Visited few relatives, at night went to god mother house for dinner and went home quite early for packing as the following day we are going to Penang.

CNY ~ Day 3
Wake up early, had dim sum and proceed with our journey to Butterworth. Reached aunt house around 3pm. Weather so hot, hotter than KL, then we went to Sunway Carnival to shop for a while and had KFC there.

CNY ~ Day 4
Visited few relatives in Butterworth, whole area jammed up due to road blocked for Le Tour De Langkawi. Luckily, we were just stuck up for few minutes only, and then around 3pm we went to Penang to visit my friend. Stay overnight in Penang at my aunt house and left my kids and maid at aunt house as hubby and me went for midnight movie at Gurney Plaza….. (such a long time we did not had a midnight movie)

CNY~ Day 5
Still in Penang Island, decided to bring the kids to Bukit Bendera, but all tickets sold out gotto wait till 2 something for the rides up the hill, did not wait that long so we went to Batu Ferringhi. After that, we went back to Butterworth as there is still few relatives I have not visit.

CNY ~ Day 6
Prepared to go back to KL. Reached home around 4pm and take a rest after that went to in-law’s house for a dinner.

CNY ~ Day 7
Still on-leave, gotto wake up early coz need to sent Sebastian to kindy, he has been ponteng for two days and sent Sidney ‘n the maid to in-laws house. So, hubby and me can rest at home…. :) Later in the evening went to SIL house in Cheras Perdana, and then we had dinner at Mahkota Cheras.

CNY ~ Day 8
Still on-leave, but gotto wake up early too to send Sebastian to kindy. Later in the afternoon, pick up Sebastian personally (normally he follow school van) and went to mom house. After that we went to aunt house in Klang. Later at night we went to Jenjarom to visit the temple there, really a nice temple. And this day, many people especially Hokkien… Pai Tee Kong. And when the clock reach 12mn, everyone started to burnt firecracker and you can hear and see firecracker everywhere more as compared to eve of CNY. Anyway, this year we are not celebrate Valentine's Day, hubby just got me a present.

CNY ~ Day 9
Supposed to sent Sebastian to kindy, but can’t wake up as last night slept quite late. So, he ponteng school again…. : P. Then, we went to friend house in the afternoon.. stayed there quite long and playing poker, got won abit la…. :D. after that went for a dinner at restaurant nearby.

Fight Verbally

Both my kids fight a lot, for toys, TV, food and every single little thing they can really fight hard for it. Last night, to my surprise they fight verbally now, me and hubby can’t stop laughing when saw them fighting. Of coz we did not laugh in front of them, or else they will think we agreed on them fighting.

They were playing together and suddenly I heard
Sidney: I slapped your face!!
Sebastian: I slapped your face too!!

And they continue…

Both of them ran toward me, and complaining each other. Sometimes it’s funny when you see both of them fighting and sometimes they can really drive your nerve up.

It has been seven days since my last post…. I’m still here, just lazy to blog and don’t know what to write. My brain has been stop functioning since last year even at work, I think and I hope that my brain will start function again after CNY… LOL!!

Nothing much happen on first week of the year......

~ went to AE's twin (Aidan 'n Dylan) one year old birthday party, Sebastian 'n Sidney enjoying themselves and collected lots of ballon which I can open up a store to sell it.. LOL!! Hubby didn't go as he's not feeling well.... met up with some of my ex-coll and one of them is migrating to Aussie soon

~ Back to work but soul still wandering around...

3 Jan
~ On leave. First day of school reopen, luckily Sebastian not that moody, he wake up very early waiting for me to bathe him. Just a little upset of Sidney when seeing her kor kor went to school, crying for her kor kor coz no one fight and play with her.

4 Jan
~ Continue to work..... rain heavily in the evening on the way to Mid Valley after work to meet up with my best friends for makan makan at Chili's

5 Jan
~ Whole day stay at home... later in the evening went out for makan then went to Tesco Extra, scary seeing these people grabbing for oil

6 Jan
~ Went to my colleague's son - Ryan one year old birthday party then to mum's house and having my favourite food.... bak kut teh

Last day of the Year 2007

Hi hi…. Today is the last day of the year 2007; so, what had you done in 2007 that you achieved? Well, nothing great happen to me in 2007, but one thing for sure that makes my time more useful is blogging. I’m started a blog in June 2007 and here where I landed all my kids, my family and myself memories. And this going to be continues for many… many… many… many… and many years till my kids grown up, further their studies, get married, having my grandchildren and more.

How you celebrate your New Year eve? At first we was thinking to check-in hotel in Bukit Bintang and celebrate our new year eve there but to my surprise most of the hotel has been fully booked and left only those expensive suite room which I can’t afford… hehehe

This year gonna be the same as previous 7 years which will celebrate at our home sweet home. Psssstt…. From my house I can see plenty of places putting on fireworks, from Genting to Bukit Jalil…. so, tonight gotto sit still here at the balcony at 12midnight and wait for fireworks…..

OK…. See you all next year ya……again, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008!!!!!

Sidney is falling down, falling down, falling down...

Poor Sidney… she fell down while running toward me to carry her. She cried so hard till the whole condo residence can hear her crying. She cry non-stop and do not want us to touch her wound.

MIL

Actually I do not have any major problems with my in laws, I can say that I’m lucky to have good in-laws; they treat me well so do I. But one thing I don’t like about my MIL is the way she handle my kids. I know is not their responsibility to do so and I can’t complain much as I’m lucky enough to have my in-law to take care of my kids. Why am I still complaining then?

Just a minor problem la… I wrote this down cause I got nothing to do and say, LOL!!! Last night while having dinner at in-law place, Sebastian wanted to eat ‘char siu’, so I told him there is no ‘char siu’ here. He is so upset and told me that granny had given him just now, so I asked MIL where is the ‘char siu’. Then MIL say it’s ‘lap cheong’ not ‘char siu’, I was like…. Huh!!! ‘lap cheong’ say it’s ‘lap cheong’ la why wanna confuse him with ‘char siu’ rite or not. I told MIL next time just tell them what is it, no need to lie to them, you will confuse them. No wonder whenever Sebastian asked me is this bla bla bla... then i will told him no.. it's bla bla bla, now I know why.

I hope that MIL won’t do this again.

Back to work

I’m supposed to be at home, playing with Sebastian ‘n Sidney, cooking, etc… as I’ve applied my leave till 2 Jan 2008. But now I’m in the office, I have cancelled my leave and back to work. Office is quite… most of my colleagues on leave and no mood to work as my soul is at home resting. You must be wondering why I cancel my leave, first, I got no where to go after my trip back from Bukit Merah and just staying at home cooking and playing with kids. Secondly, my MIL is confirmed going to China next year March so I gotto save some leave for that, coz no one takes care of my kids unless is school holidays so I can ask mum help to look after them.

Happy Dong Zhi (Kor Toong)

Tomorrow Kor Toong and this is yearly festival celebrated among Chinese where tong yuen (glutinous rice ball) is served. When I was young, mum told me that once we eat tong yuen we will grow one year older, so I eat as much as I can then I can grown up faster but now can I not to take so I won’t grow older and stopped at this age…. LOL!!!

This is my very first time make tong yuen after married for almost 7yrs, normally MIL will make extra for me to bring home to eat and for praying, so this year I told MIL that I will make myself. I asked MIL to buy the entire ingredient for me, as I have no time for marketing.

And the result is…………….

White, Green (pandan leaves) and Red (red coloring), not to worry this is for praying one that why I use the red coloring.

Day Trip to Malacca

Yesterday was at Malacca for a day trip, we went to D-paradise as I bought the tickets during Matta Fair, which valid till this year end only. There is nothing much there, can’t see any fruits maybe is not fruiting season, and most of the fruit tree planted there half dead. They claim they have Robber Crab from Christmas Island, Australia, I can’t even see the foot print not to say the crab. We reached there around 11am and finished rounding the whole farm by 2pm plus resting, after that we went to Malacca town for makan-makan, it was raining when we left the farm.

When we arrive Malacca town, it still drizzling then the rain stopped, luckily. Then we went for a walk at Jonker’s Street, after that we proceed to Stadthuys where Sebastian wants to ride on trishaw. So hubby takes together with Sebastian and my nephew Brandon for the ride. The kids were so happy and all looks tired when we were on the way back to KL. Safely reach home at 8pm.

I knew Elaine thru MJ Parenting Forum and from there I get to know her even better when I hop in her blog. To tell you all the truth, I know nothing about blog, when people talk about blog, in my mind was asking, ‘what the heck is that?’ so sooner or later I had better understanding of blogging, then from there I start to blog.
